Where strikes the Gaming Gopher?

Why, into your very heart and soul. (Who picks these animals?)

Fancy, fancy ads.

Art strikes again.

George Michael is everywhere.

Whether people like it or not.

Best store ever.

Did you want that order yesterday, today or several thousand years from now?

The Royal Lineage

If 4,972 people die, Karin Vogel will be the last person in line for the throne.

A Solution for Potholes

Projet nid de poule fills the potholes in France with delightful knitted creations.

The Ninjas of Pittsburgh

There is a recent rise of "ninja" activity in Pittsburgh. I contend that these people are not, in fact, ninjas. You know why? We know about them. If they were true ninjas, we would never have even seen them.

My my, that's a big harmonica you have there.
Thanks Brendan.

Fancy Garage

Very fancy.

Creative sculptures.

One word: bright. Bright bright bright. (And, yes, all made out of discarded skateboards.)

Untooned Bert

Creepy. By Nacho. More here.

Smell Like Your DnD Character!

Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has a variety of perfume oil blends which allow you to smell both like races (orcs, dwarves, elves, etc. ) as well as classes (clerics, rangers, etc.) AND even smells based on your alignment.

Quadrocopter Tennis

Thanks Chip!

Crabzilla, the world's biggest crab.

A weird selection, but I can't get over how big this mother is. Apparently it can straddle a car. Eesh.

Yep, Layton sure is a Trekkie.

And has been for years, according to this article. Hmmm, change of vote in order?

Layton = Trekkie?

I got this fantastic photo from Brigitte. I have no words. I don't know the context at all. But it rules! (For our non-Canadian readers, this is Jack Layton, NDP Leader and one of the five potential prime ministers in our current election, and his wife, Olivia Chow).

50 Things Women Should Know.

Ala men. I agree with some, not with others. (Couldn't care less if you can hit a golf ball. Lord knows I can't.)

Comic: Streaming

This comic basically applies to everything I want to watch, though I am looking forward to being able to watch Game of Thrones as well. Read on.

Human Tetris

Class 3 Outbreak.

This thing is pretty neat. You find your location on Google Maps, zoom in on it and then populate it with zombies. Watch as civilians rush in and try to stop the zombie outbreak... or just get turned into zombies themselves. Not terribly interactive, but fun to watch your neighbourhood become a war zone.

Interactive particles.

Only fun for about a minute, but what a minute it shall be.

Bent Objects: The Secret Life of Everyday Things is a photography book by Terry Border. You can see more pictures here.

Transformers goes chibi.

Wandering Marionettes

Five-Card Nancy

Five-Card Nancy is fun. Go play it. And look at the Hall0-of-Fame.

A to Z of Awesomeness

The rest of the alphabet is here.

Groovy pics by Flickr owners.

Peeps and more!

Edit: I have just noticed how naughty that title looks in that font. Bwa ha ha.

Stage in Austria is AWESOME

"SURREAL: A 15-meter (49-foot) head was fixed on a torso with cranes and integrated into a floating stage on Lake Constance near Bregenz, Austria, Thursday. It is part of the stage setting for the opera ‘Andre Chenier’ by Italian composer Umberto Giordano, which will premiere in July. (Felix Kaestle/Associated Press)"

Seriously, between this and the other stage we blogged about, I really need to go back to Austria and see some opera. This shit is amazing.

Should you have a cookie?

After a lengthy mental process.... yes. Duh.

(Also, read Sheldon. It is a good comic.)

Go Go Plant 2!

A fun Flash game where you play a potted plant with some crazy powers. Quite good, especially given the emphasis on audio.

Cute Roulette

Cute Roulette is based on Chat Roulette, except it contains far fewer penises. It does contain random videos of cute animals. This could very well be the death of me.

Lego House

I'm apparently on a Lego kick today.

Also - thanks James.

Skittles Vodka.

I have never been prouder of this world for its ingenuity. No, really.

Lego Tower

Splooshing paint is teh awesome.

But how awesome? See for yourself.

Plight of the Cactus People.

Witness the harrowing struggles of a misunderstood people brow=beaten into repression. Oh, Minecraft, where would we be without you?

Child Joins The Dark Side

The things you find when you write articles about video games.

Somebody has drawn close to 500 pictures of what pokemon would look like if they were anime girls.

That's utterly frightening.

Be careful, the picture is HUGE. (Clicking this link is safe, tho.)

Banana Carvings

I kinda like these, despite my inherent hatred of bananas.

Snowboarding Sasquatch

LED Dance

What's YOUR English?

I love Professor Elemental.

There is no word for describing how awesome this image is.

Truth is spoken.

Great one-liners.

Never get old... except that last one. I've heard it too many times.
