I've started writing a weekly novella. It's about zombies. Anybody with an undead hankering should enjoy. It's a teensy bit more philosophical than your average zombie story, though, so don't expect rampant amounts of gunfire.
God help me, I want some views. Help me out, y'all.

Not me, this weirdo. And the weirdos around them. Weird. (Really, where do they go on a daily basis to overhear such strange shite?)

And succeeds. Good god, he kills, like, one enemy the entire game.

This is probably not THAT weird, but it's awesome, and its (part) my blog, and I'm sharing anyhow. So there.
I don't have kids, but I can agree with all of these points. Seen 'em in action. The thought of skipping story is pain to me.

This game has been out for a while, but is probably an unknown for many folks. The premise is simple: create and maintain a robust colony of dwarfs.
The premise is simple. The actual game is about as complex as anything you'll ever see. It's also propped up by an at-first bewildering interface and some of the most basic graphics you'll ever see. (The base game, without graphical enhancement, looks much worse than the screenshot.)
If you can get past the many, MANY stumbling blocks, however, you'll find Dwarf Fortress to be one of the most immersive and addictive games ever. That is, sadly, a big if, however.
