Death of a Ghostbuster

Well...That's depressing.

How to break the speed of light

A Lesson in Quantum Mechanics

Transform your N64 into a handheld.

The process is rather impressive.

Dropkick The Faint.

I don't know what they did to deserve this, but it's still fun.

Top 135 Tim Curry quotes.

Everything he says is quotable, but only in his voice. Otherwise... what's the point?

Facebook fun.

This is actually more a call to arms than a post - I'm just alerting everyone to the fact that Weird Stuff We Have Online now has its own Facebook page. Come like us and you'll receive constant updates via the wall, since I'll be posting links to everything on there as well. (Except this, since it's silly.)

Facebook Like GO

And, just so this post isn't without merit, here's the Facebook song.

Wilford Brimley Friday the 13th hack.

You must admit, getting chased around by the Quaker Oats guy with a machete is pretty goddamned scary.

The art of Andrew Mar.

Feels slightly anime, but the colouring is superb.

Smurfs are communists.

(Might take it more seriously if they could learn how to spell 'dissension'.)

A slew of geeky pumpkin templates.

Boba Fett, Sheldon Cooper, Aliens, the Trollface... you name it, this place has it.

Guy makes his own porsche.

No doubt it will survive when struck by an actual car.

X-Men theme, orchestral version.

Yes, it exists, and is awesome.

Holly Jolly Empire.

Christmas Town meets the Galactic Empire. Pew pew.

Sean Connery, follow your S with an H.

Yes, that's the way.

Tidal wave of wine.

Winos everywhere weep for the loss.

New brand name condoms.

And not the kind you'd expect. Those pre-existing slogans are all perfect... or maybe I just have a terrible mind.

7 billion people and you: What's your number?

I am the 4,803,517,369th person born on the Earth. My partner Matt was the 4,733,787,073th. What number are you?

Behind the scenes shots.

You really do forget they're puppets after a while.

Browser Rousers.

Guess what, kiddies? I have yet another new blog to plug! This one's called Browser Rousers (best name I could concoct), and it's all about browser-based games. I plug them often enough on Weird Stuff, so why not give 'em their own website where I can critique them at greater length?

Anyway. Come visit. There will be a new review each day, from Monday to Friday, on a new indie game. It will be fun.
(Though I really need to work on that title image. And, yes, that's our adorable little Plato up there in sprite form. I did the best I could with pixels.)

Johnny Depp shows up Ricky Gervais.

This appears to be the new Extras.

Moby Dick foretells real life assassinations.

Really. You just have to be creative.

Nyan Caxx.

Based on a true story, according to the YouTube page.

That's... frightening.

When you text me.

Not that anyone texts me. I have no phone. But in theory, this is what your face would look like.

A Mother in Festerwood.

In this weird little browser game you have to protect your son from the dangers of the world until he's ready to wander out and face them on his own. It amounts to watching dots move about randomly on a map in the end, but still. Thought-provoking.

German woman hasn't used money in 15 years.

And I quote:

Heidemarie’s incredible story began 22 years ago, when she, a middle-aged secondary school teacher emerging from a difficult marriage, took her two children and moved to the city of Dortmund, in Germany’s Ruhr area. One of the first things she noticed was the large number of homeless people, and this shocked her so much that she decided to actually do something about it. She had always believed the homeless didn’t need actual money to be accepted back into society, only a chance to empower themselves by making themselves useful, so she opened a Tauschring (swap shop), called “Gib und Nimm” (Give and Take).

This kid is awesome.

Grey Story.

A boy tries to get a girl's attention. (The genders can probably be whatever you want.) Does he succeed? Play and find out. Very mellow art game that's a lot deeper than, say, Angry Birds.

Tim Curry Halloween Song

Mr. Chainsaw

Thanks Simon!

Bad Lip Reading

Thanks Peter!

Elvis Costello on Sesame Street

Spiderman Dance

Zombie in a Penguin Suit

The Ninja Educational System.

This is pretty much all you ever need to know about ninjas, and their progression through life.

(Nicked from COMMISSIONED Comic, yet another webcomic in the vast multiverse of webcomics.)

This is the ACTUAL post number 1,000.

. . .

Post number ONE THOUSAND

A momentous occasion, folks, and worthy of something special. Therefore, we two Weird Stuff We Found Online staffers (if you can call us a company, which we clearly aren't) hereby present

OUR TOP FIVE POSTS. Each. So ten. More is better.

These are our favourite moments in Weird Stuff history, pulled from long months of posting random crap, with links for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

- Child Joins The Dark Side - This child is headed in the right direction.
- Cover: B****** Ain't S*** - Because everything is made better when sung by a choir.
- Honey Badgers are Badass - Oh my god did you see that? He just doesn't give a shit.
- Cookie Monster/ Tom Waits Mashup - I will never picture Tom Waits as anything other than Cookie Monster.
- Hello, I'm Shelley Duvall - This needs no explanation. So I'm not giving it one. You'll just have to live with that.

- Creepy photos of abandoned Six Flags. A collection of surreal photographs from the closed Six Flags location in New Orleans.
- Cat Operated Tank. A cat goes berserk while driving a small tank around an office. People die.
- Star Trek is Happy in Paraguay. The crew of the starship Enterprise receive a rather nasty dub.
- Don Cheadle is Captain Planet. And god is he pissed.
- Daffy Duck the Wizard. Proof that Looney Toons can, indeed, be badass.

Oh, the memories. What does the future hold in store for Weird Stuff We Found Online? Probably exactly what we've been doing up to this point. (You expected something else?)

Thanks for reading! Keep up the good work, slackers of the interwebs!

Halloween Light Show 2011

Funny guy.

The Beardo.

Winter's coming. Why not?

The redesign continues. The logo's better, but the layout needs to be a bit less, y'know, deathly dark. Too much contrast. Hurts my eyes.

But hey! We now have a Randomize button. Hit it and you'll be taken to one of our many, many, many posts. At random. Give it a shot, it's right below the logo. (Which will, eventually, have the button built into it.)

Zombie Bites.

Don't know if there's much point to this game, but it's fun anyway. Om nom nom.

(You may have noticed the new logo at the top. Or several. I'm experimenting. Don't like 'em yet. I really need an art pen for outlining these things - pencils are terrible for editing purposes.)

Wish I had a Portal gun.

Everybody does. Who wouldn't? They'd be stupid. And slower than those of us with Portal guns.

Ninja Puppet Fight

Ninja from Olivier Trudeau on Vimeo.

Batman Meets The Riddler

The Villainous Dr. Sock.

Hey hey, interwebs. This is another blatant self-plug, but I care not.

Anyway! Today's attempt at making money comes in the form of The Villainous Dr. Sock, an ebook I've JUST PUBLISHED. Amazing. You can sample - and buy! - the thing at Smashwords. If you like comic books, you should give this sucker a try. I'm proud of it.

Remember. Should. Indeed, you will. I command it, Internet legions!

Pac-Man the Musical

Obi-Wan Kenobi speed runs.

Movie's over.

Darth Vader, Troll of the Empire.

What a douche.

Judy Jetson Likes Boys

Drinks with the X-Men

Crystal Story.

Kill the witch and retrieve the crystal. A surprisingly in-depth JRPG-esque Flash game. Quite fun if you have a few hours to waste.

Evelyn Evelyn - Have You Seen My Sister Evelyn?

Evelyn Evelyn "Have You Seen My Sister Evelyn" Music Video from Amanda Palmer on Vimeo.

Even if I wasn't totally obsessed with Amanda Palmer, I would think this video was fucking amazing. It does take some time to load, but it is totally worth it.

Cosplay Fever lip dub: Let Me Entertain You

I like Crow T. Robot the best.

Epic Cosplay Action.

Some excellent moves from cosplayers. And no, not THOSE kinds of moves.
