Natalie Portman: Neuroscientist

Natalie Portman famously went to Harvard in 2000 to study psychology. During that time, she co-authored a scientific paper called "Frontal Lobe Activation during Object Permanence: Data from Near-Infrared Spectroscopy".

The study investigated object permanence – the ability to understand that objects do not disappear from the world when they are out of sight, something that typically develops in the first year of life.

You can read more about it in layman's terms here. OR you can read the paper itself (Natalie is listed under her real name, Natalie Hershlag).Read it here.

Thanks Elena!
